ABOUT US
Envio Energi is the sole North American design, marketing and manufacturing licensee for KMW ENERGI i Norrtälje AB, a market and technology leader in Scandinavia in bio-fuel combustion plants. Our mission is to exploit the patented combustion technology developed and perfected by KMW Energi in nearly 50 years of business, making it available to customers in North America.
KMW ENERGI i Norrtälje AB is a privately owned company based in Norrtälje, Sweden. The company was founded in 1958 by Folke Berg and Gosta Starck to design, market and manufacture wood fired boilers for the wood processing, sawmill and pulp and paper industries. Since its formation, KMW Energi has intensely focused on the technical development of bio-fuel combustion systems.
In nearly 50 years of business, KMW Energi has delivered more than 3,000 systems producing hot water, steam and combined heat and power (CHP) in the effect range of 5 MWth to 40 MWth.
KMW's corporate office and manufacturing facility is located in Norrtälje, Sweden, approximately 65 kilometers northeast of Stockholm in the heart of the beautiful archipelago of the Swedish east coast.
